MH BC-DBM(1) steel bobbin case is the housing that holds and positions the bobbin on industrial 6-7 class heavy-duty sewing machines.
Unlike the bobbin itself, the bobbin case seats the wound bobbin under the needle plate and controls the tension of the lower thread through its tension spring as the hook picks up each stitch.
It is made from steel for a rigid, wear-resistant body suited to the higher loads of heavy-duty production, and it is machined to the BC-DBM(1) format so it aligns the bobbin the same way as the original component.
